Here's this week's Alumni Report.Lewis Neal - DC United Lewis Neal’s United played against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. Neal was subbed into the match during the 61 minute for Nick DeLeon. Lewis played 32 minutes of the match and completed 13 successful passes and won two tackles. Chris Pontius scored the lone goal of the match in the 78 minute giving DC United the 1-0 victory over the Union. Yordany Alvarez - Real Salt Lake Real Salt Lake played away at Chivas USA on Saturday. Alvarez was subbed into the match during the 86 minute for Alvaro Saborio. Yordany may have only played in four minutes of the match, but still contributed four successful passes around the pitch. RSL won the match convincingly, beating Chivas USA 3-0. Fabian Espindola scored two goals during the match, and Will Johnson was awarded his first goal of the season. Follow Yordany as RSL match-up against the last place Los Angeles Galaxy of the western conference on June 20, 2012 at Rio Tinto Stadium 9:00 p.m. Lawrence Olum - Sporting Kansas City Olum’s Sporting Kansas City were host to last place Toronto FC of the eastern conference on Saturday. Lawrence was selected to start for the first time in Saturday’s match. Olum ended up playing the entire 90 minutes of the match and contributed to Sporting Kansas City’s back line in a 2-0 victory for Sporting. Next, Olum’s Sporting Kansas City travel to Qwest Field to face the Seattle Sounders on June 20, 2012 at 10:00 p.m. EST. |
